Nestled in the heart of The Ribble Valley is the picturesque village of Bolton by Bowland, which is where you will discover The Coach and Horses, a country pub with a difference.
We have a comfortable bar and lounge, relaxed yet high quality restaurant and a less formal dining room that is ideal for private parties or a quiet drink away from the bar. To the rear of The Coach & Horses, there is also a spacious beer garden where you can enjoy an al fresco lunch or early evening drink (when the weather permits of course).
There are also 2 ensuite bedrooms available, with a third planned for the spring of 2009. Why not join us for the weekend and come and see what our beautiful village has to offer.
In addition to our in house dining experience, we also provide a traditional fish and chip take away service. Home made rag puddings, fresh battered haddock and black pudding fritters await those who want to enjoy the Coach and Horses cuisine in the comfort of their own home. You can either place your order over the phone for collection, or come in and have a relaxing drink while you wait. We take great pride in serving the best Lancashire has to offer, from our locally brewed cask ales to the finest ingredients produced in the region.
All our food is freshly prepared by a team of highly skilled chefs and their mission is to create dishes that not only satisfy your taste buds, but excite your imagination.
Our range of beers include real ales brewed by the Ribble Valleys very own Bowland Brewery, Moorhouse’s (Burnley) and Copper Dragon (Skipton). We also have an extensive wine selection that has been designed to compliment our chef’s creations – from rich Argentinean Malbecs to crisp Austrian Gruner Veltliners, our list represents some of the best producers the old and new wine world has to offer.
The Coach and Horses is the perfect destination for your next midweek luncheon or Saturday night out, whether an intimate dinner for two or a large group celebration. We serve food 7 days a week.
