When Zak and I re-opened the Coach and Horses on the 31st March 2008, we already had some idea as to the warm welcome we would receive from the village and its people.  Colin and Ann had sent an email, Alan and Liz had posted a card, John and Kathy came along to say hello - So we shouldn't have been surprised when what seemed like 10,000 people descended upon us for the opening night.

 

Since then we have survived the wettest summer in history, an economic disaster, 8 parties and umpteen visits from the friendly neighbourhood police.  All this on board, we are still here and couldn't have done it without the support of all our customers (village and beyond).

 

This in mind, we decided to throw a party to celebrate our year in office and it was a thrill to see so many of you there.
